What your day to day will look like?

Serve as an enterprise leader and a key SME responsible for helping transform P&W into a Model Based Enterprise.

Lead key activities for MBE and support engineering enterprise architecture functions.

This key capability will enable seamless introduction of new MBE projects, ensuring business teams are able to easily adopt MBE technology solutions and enure scaling of these solutions globally via good architecture practices.

Understand and take ownership of the entire digital enablers portfolio for MBE, helping to shape the strategy and approach to realize this critical need.

Provide strong leadership, overall technical direction, and guidance to stakeholders based on enterprise architecture best practices.

This role will partner extensively with all parts of the Pratt & Whitney MBE community, to ensure implementation of solutions that serve to streamline the way we work – including but not limited to technical development, validation, technology transfer, and ongoing lifecycle management / support for our products.

The MBE and Engineering Architect is a thought leader, operating across various Technical Platform Areas and will be expected to provide guidance on a global scale regarding Industry Best Practices.

This role will also be responsible for instilling an agile mindset and help implement and support scaled agile practices for both the architecture team and broader MBE portfolio.

Participate in technology forums and town hall sessions for the benefit of the MBE community, helping the community understand the value of digital process transformation.

Work with program leadership to establish short and long-term vision and roadmaps for integration of solutions across MBE portfolio.

Work closely with existing Enterprise, Application, Data, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity architecture teams.

Lead MBE roadmap development efforts, including technologies and industry best practices.
The tools you need to be successful
-
10+ years of experience in Digital Technology or similar field that includes acting as an working on large scale technology implementations.

4+ years of experience with Model-Based Enterprise

Knowledge and experience working in Agile / Scrum teams, including daily standups, retrospectives, demos/reviews

Ability to provide strategic technical leadership and lead by influence the creation of long-term strategy (e.g., more than 3 years) roadmaps in a virtual environment
