Our Enterprise Architecture team helps align and enable business and tech, provide holistic architecture direction and governance, balancing the long-term and the short-term. Using robust frameworks and best practices they support an effective and efficient tech delivery.

To strengthen our team, we are now hiring more Enterprise Architects to further level up our support to business and tech in several areas.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
At H&M Group, our architecture landscape is divided into segments, here the Marketing segment covers our Marketing and Customer & Experience Management capabilities.

As an Enterprise Architect – Marketing, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our global MarTech and Customer & Experience landscape, ensuring alignment between business strategy and technological execution. You will work cross-functionally to define, optimize, and evolve our marketing technology landscape and help enable a seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints.

You will:

  • Define and drive the Marketing and Customer & Experience technology architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategies and marketing transformation initiatives.
  • Identify dependencies across business and technology capabilities, guiding stakeholders through necessary changes in process, information, and technology.
  • Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders on investment decisions, evaluating risks, costs vs. benefits, and business impact.
  • Shape and evaluate future initiatives, including new operating models and emerging technologies, applying innovations to optimize business and operating models.
  • Analyze industry and market trends to identify opportunities and assess their impact on enterprise architecture.
  • Develop and maintain architectural frameworks, standards, and best practices, ensuring alignment across teams and fostering architecture thinking within the engineering and delivery community.
  • Oversee and facilitate architectural decision-making, ensuring the Marketing and Customer & Experience capabilities are positioned effectively within the enterprise landscape, with clearly defined business capabilities, target states, roadmaps, and guardrails.
  • Collaborate with other architects and teams to design and implement key strategies, solutions, and current-state and transition architectures.

YOU’LL WORK WITH
As an Enterprise Architect, you will collaborate closely with architects across different architecture segments and areas of the organisation, ensuring seamless integration between Marketing, Customer & Experience, and the broader enterprise architecture. You will work alongside Solution Architects, other Enterprise Architects, and System Architects to define, optimize, and evolve our marketing technology landscape while ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide strategies.

WHO YOU ARE
Your role will bridge marketing, customer engagement, and digital experience with other architectural segments, enabling a cohesive and scalable Marketing and Customer & Experience landscape that supports business objectives across all touchpoints.

We are looking for people with..

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, computer science, technology, or a related field—or equivalent work experience. Certifications in Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus.
  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering, business technology, or related roles, including 10+ years in a Solution or Enterprise Architecture capacity.
  • Deep technical knowledge in paid and organic marketing channel technologies, attribution modeling, and content optimization.
  • Strong understanding of Loyalty programs, CRM, CMS, CDPs, social media, journey orchestration, and SEO tools.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications in marketing and customer experience.
  • Knowledge of Customer Service technologies (e.g., voice, chat, email, social messaging, in-store experiences) and their role in delivering exceptional customer support is a plus.
  • Proven experience from working with business & tech stakeholders with documenting & communicating architecture using one or several formal notations using EA Tools such as LeanIX, showing multiple viewpoints and dimensions – e.g. process, capability, information, application, technology etc.
  • Experience in architecture governance and formulating architecture principles, standards, guardrails etc.
  • Experience in Data, AI & Automation architecture, designing for high-volume products for retail solutions
