We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Application Administrator to join our collaborative, mission-driven, dynamic, and innovative campus technology team onsite at Fresno Pacific University. The Enterprise Application Administrator is responsible for operational leadership of the institution’s enterprise application systems, including design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance. The position engages academic, administrative, and student services stakeholders to understand their needs and align their use of their applications to these, within the capacity and integrity of the technology infrastructure. The position provides analysis and recommendations to improve and expand applications, system integration, and application performance. The role includes staying abreast with latest applications and features to enhance student engagement and success.
The Enterprise Application Administrator will be responsible for building relationships across campus to support the constituents in effectively leveraging their administrative system applications in the achievement of their goals. They will serve our clients through best practices in applications design, development, implementation, support, and maintenance. The individual in this role will need to have strong listening, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. They must understand people, processes, and technology. The position, in working collaboratively with the key stakeholders, will maintain the enterprise systems within a reasonable level of current versions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of the institution’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
- Coordinate and manage ERP support with appropriate depth of specific expertise across the numerous ERP modules to maintain a high level of support for ERP services to the college/university.
- Will have direct oversight of staff.
- Coordinate the work of 3 or more remote technicians.
- Develop and execute operational plans, in consultation with senior leadership, IT leadership, and administrative and academic representatives.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to improve and expand applications, system integration, and application performance.
- Maintain regular interaction with all administrative and academic departments to ensure best support of the work of the institution and serve as a liaison between functional users and technical support staff for administrative systems.
- Stay current on product availability to meet institutional needs and propose new initiatives to meet identified needs.
- Ensure the team follows the change management process for application development and updates, coordinating process and timing of regular upgrades and applications of program fixes for existing programs, and integrate with ongoing projects.
- Collaboratively develop and adopt a change management framework, including user acceptance testing.
- Help coordinate the organization and training of user groups, design project teams, and coordinate efforts of administrative and computing departments, consultants, vendors, and other groups in meeting the institution’s goals for use of administrative systems.
- Develop needs analyses of potential projects, identify potential solutions and vendors, create requests for proposals, coordinate evaluation of proposals, and facilitate decisions.
- Regularly communicate status updates to IT leadership and stakeholders.
- Prepare project scope and develop project plans, including project tasks, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables.
- Educate stakeholders on latest trends in student centric applications and services.
- Possess an understanding of CRM, LMS, CMS, Mobile Apps, Cloud based Applications.
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience leading administrative processes and functions in the college/university setting as they relate to the development, modification and enhancement of applications within the ERP and associated systems employed by the institution.
- Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge of data feeds, extracts, and enterprise ERP reporting solutions.
- Experience leading and being hands on with a technical team and interfacing with end users to effectively understand their needs and work with the technical team to support the desired outcomes.
- Senior-level ERP experience and 3+ years working for higher education institutions.
- Experience with Ellucian Colleague is preferred
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, preferred or Associate’s degree with commensurate experience.
Required Skills and Abilities:

- Participate in weekly update meetings with Ellucian Cloud Delivery Service Manager
- Add and inactivate Colleague or Banner UI users.
- Add and delete FPU staff from access to the Ellucian website information
- Design, create and maintain security classes
- Receive and disseminate all change and upgrade notices from Ellucian
- Coordinate any Colleague or Banner issues or fixes needed with Ellucian
- Escalate urgent needs such as system errors and downtimes as needed
- Process changes for screens and tables – including VAL Codes - that affect more than one department or the entire system.
- Process any database edits that may be necessary by using the EDRC screen
- Provide support for payroll processing any time data issues arise or when the process stalls. Understand the key issues involved and be prepared to contact Ellucian for immediate assistance when needed.
- Write, edit, and modify Informer reports
- Schedule reports for regular processing,
- Oversee the performance of the main Informer server, updating parameters, and performing other server functions
- Update Scheduled reports with new parameters monthly to keep them functioning correctly.
- Design forms. Use as much integration as possible so that no one must enter standard fields such as name and ID number. Use the tools to hide or display fields for each user of the form. Only display the fields needed for each person in the workflow to decide how they will process the form.
- Create workflows. Study the current process, but don’t just automate the same process. Look for ways to improve by combining steps, omitting unnecessary steps, or even adding steps to prevent work done outside the system. Utilize the tools (split/join, groups, conditional users, broadcasts, e-sign, etc.) as needed to provide the most advanced processing.
- The workflow and database servers are both on prem. Understand how to support them and resolve the basic issues that may arise.
- Process the SQL commands that been stored on the database server.
- Support the users with any process or production issues. Contact vendor for assistance when needed.
- Resolve any issues from the Positions report that is generated nightly and sent to NEOED
- Assist HR staff with any questions regarding errors from the positions interface
- Monitor the error messages that come occasionally from the JATI (Job Applicant Tracking Interface) interface and workflow. Resolve any issues.
- Monitor any error logs that come from Kourier functions – converting data from UniData to SQL.
- Oversee the correction of any data errors that are brought to light from the Kourier data parameters
- Monitor changes in the system that would require IT support. This would mainly be due to changes in Colleague, or to other changes that require one of the Informer reports to be modified.
- Position is in-person on the main campus of Fresno Pacific University.

The estimated base salary range for this job is $120,000 - $135,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that CampusWorks reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; required travel; and other business, contractual, and organizational needs.
This job is also eligible to participate in CampusWorks’ annual profit-sharing program, which reflects CampusWorks’ pay for performance philosophy. The job is also eligible to participate in CampusWorks’ generous benefit offerings, which include medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k retirement plan, and other health and wellness plans.
The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
