State Street is seeking a self-motivated hands-on full-time Application Developer to join the Reference Data development team in our Irvine, CA office. The candidate will be responsible for functional enhancements to business-critical software.
What you will be responsible for
As an Application Developer, you will
· Develop and maintain Reference Data Systems software
· Assume ownership from development to Production rollout
· Work in multi-location agile environment in alignment with business and technology teams.
· Follow application Development, Data engineering, Performance and security standards.

· Solid experience in the full software development life cycle for large-scale applications, including architecture and design, requirements analysis, development and testing, and production deployment.

· Strong Hands-on large scale, multi-tenant development experience.
· Effective communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and senior management.
· Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
· The preferred candidate will have minimum of 7 years of experience as an Application Developer in enterprise software development and Solution Architecture.
· Strong technical experience in C++, Java, ReactJS required
· RDBMS SQL skills required (Sybase & SQL Server experience preferred)
· Experience with application security, scalability and performance.
· Experience with Unix and Unix shell scripting strongly preferred.
· Experience with Drools preferred.
· Experience in the financial industry is a plus.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $177,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the location above, the applicable range could differ.
