Enterprise AI Platform Associate Apprentice – Carmel, IN

The Enterprise AI Platform Associate Apprentice is a unique opportunity offered in partnership with the TechPoint Indiana Adult Apprenticeship Program. This role is designed for adults looking to launch a career in tech, focusing on aptitude and a willingness to learn rather than prior professional experience. As an apprentice, you will proactively learn and assist our senior team members within our global Allegion environment. You will gain experience in the following areas of our Enterprise AI Platform team: adoption, enablement (training and communications), support (user onboarding and daily support), governance, and documentation.

This position requires a service mindset, curiosity, and the ability to effectively operate in a blended environment of business and technical personnel of various levels across the global organization; specifically cross-functional engagement with other IT and business areas such as IT Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, Regional IT teams, Communications, HR, and Legal.

Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. The company does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.) for this employment position.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in the daily triage of user questions, access and license requests, and support tickets for our AI platform under the guidance of senior team members.
• Shadow senior team members during onboarding sessions, office hours, and training to learn how we drive adoption, and help prepare enablement materials.
• Support the onboarding, basic setup, and troubleshooting of AI tools (e.g., chat assistants, agent tools, and reusable skills) for business users.
• Assist in writing, reviewing, and updating platform documentation, user guides, FAQs, and internal communications.
• Gather evidence and documentation to support responsible AI goals, including usage policies, data handling standards, and governance reviews.
• Track adoption and usage metrics and help prepare simple reports for the team.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Must meet the eligibility requirements of the TechPoint Indiana Adult Apprenticeship program.
• High integrity, strong curiosity, a service mindset, and a genuine interest in how people adopt and use new technology.
• Learning agility, including a demonstrated ability to grasp business and technical subject matters.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to build trust across teams, and the comfort to ask questions when learning new concepts.
• Discipline and reliability. You plan your own workload, follow through on commitments, and produce consistent, dependable work with limited oversight.
• Foundational comfort with common productivity and collaboration tools, and a willingness to learn AI tools through self-study, coursework, or certifications (preferred).
• Demonstrated technical aptitude with the ability to translate technical concepts into practical business language (preferred).
