The Market Opportunity

You'll be selling Vertiv Thermal & Power products— the exact solutions that keep AI servers, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise Data Centers running. This isn't just a sales job — it's a front-row seat to the most transformative technology shift of our generation.

 

What We're Looking For

Must Have

  • Scholar degree in Engineering, Technical, or Business-related field (or equivalent combination of education and acquired experience)
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience in B2B markets
  • Ability to learn and translate technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • Proficient in executing tactical plans to win business
  • Coachable and willing to learn — we invest in our people
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Self-disciplined with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred — You'll Stand Out If You Have

  • 5–10 years of professional experience, ideally in technical sales
  • Background in HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, or EPC design — highly relevant to Data Center environments
  • Registered Professional Engineer designation
  • Experience in Data Center, IT infrastructure, or related industries
 

What Success Looks Like

  • Maintaining a healthy CRM pipeline at 3x quota level
  • Achieving or exceeding annual individual and team sales quotas
  • Building deep, trusted relationships within client organizations
  • Delivering industry-leading customer support across your territory
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date annual sales plans for each assigned account
