We’re looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and experienced Enterprise Account Manager to join our team.


The Position

The Account Management role is essential in building and maintaining critical relationships with the CXOs and VPs of our top enterprise customers. Their primary responsibility is to ensure these key stakeholders understand the value HappyCo provides to their organizations and teams. This involves not only reinforcing the benefits of our current solutions but also identifying opportunities to align with their strategic initiatives and expand our partnership by introducing additional products and service.


This role requires close collaboration with our Customer Success team, which typically engages with Directors and Managers to support day-to-day operations, ensuring our product is delivering as expected. Additionally, the Account Manager will work with Professional Services and Technical Support to guarantee that our top customers experience a seamless, high-value engagement, minimizing any risk of churn. This position is vital to the growth and retention of our strategic accounts.


We have a preference for candidates that have multifamily, property management or real estate industry experience, but it’s not a requirement. We do, however, require that our Enterprise Account Managers possess:


A strong account management methodology in the B2B SaaS space

Experience selling a complex platform solution and/or a suite of products

Experience engaging with senior executives that have decision making authority and hold technical, innovation, or operational positions; experience with a consultative sale which requires engaging with multiple stakeholders

During your first 1-2 weeks you will:

  • Get to know our leadership, culture, and values
  • Complete our HappyCo orientation and onboarding program
  • Onboard with the sales team
  • Familiarize yourself with Salesforce and other internal sales systems
  • Read our favorite industry primers
  • Attend your first Company Wide Meeting

During your first 1-3 months you will:

  • Get acquainted with the different departments
  • Shadow existing account managers to learn upsell techniques 
  • Lead your first meeting and/or product capability assessment
  • Prepare proposal estimates by studying prospect’s current procedures and portfolio
  • Understand and deliver value propositions on all HappyCo products
  • Represent HappyCo by spending time in the field, at trade shows, demonstrations and seminars

During your first 6-12 months you will:

  • Research and prepare to start meeting or exceeding quota targets 
  • Manage pipeline and accurately forecast opportunities
  • Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of HappyCo software

What you could expect day-to-day

  • Negotiate and close business for the HappyCo suite of products with top Enterprise Accounts
  • Work in conjunction with HappyCo partners and coworkers to grow the HappyCo brand and message
  • Identify and develop relationships with key C-level Executives
  • Participate in deal flow management from signature through completion of launch
  • Work to grow your knowledge of existing clients

What we think you need to be successful

  • At least 3-5 years of account management experience (B2B SaaS) with a preference for multifamily, property management, or real estate industry experience
  • Previous sales experience in an Enterprise B2B SaaS context where you've tackled complex workflows and systems
  • Strong account management methodology and experience with the ability to demonstrate proficiency through a proven track record
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels, including with C-level executives 
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Passionate belief in the HappyCo core values with unwavering commitment to quality and success
  • Ability to travel - up to 10-15% - for client meetings and industry trade shows/ events
