Position Overview
The Named Accounts Sales Executive performs a key role by managing a selection of Autodesk’s largest and most strategic accounts. This position focuses’ on the growth and development of these accounts within a specified industry group directly. The role is responsible for growing the business relationship within the assigned Accounts, to meet/exceed financial and business objectives.
Responsibilities
Full coverage of the enterprise customers in the AEC(Architecture, Engineering & Construction), D&M (Design and Manufacturing) or M&E (Media & Entertainment) industries
Develop short-term and mid-to-long-term growth strategies for assigned accounts and execute detailed action plans in collaboration with account team members
Create and close new sales opportunities through up-selling and cross-selling activities for assigned customers
Accurately forecast quarterly and annual sales results and proactively manage at-risk deals
Act as the primary point of contact and overall owner for assigned accounts, collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders to maximize synergy
Formulate and prepare business plans for each assigned account. This involves evaluating the customer profile, creating value messaging and targeting key steps needed to execute the account plans
Manage accounts through entire sales process from business development, prospecting, and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support
Provide an accurate weekly, monthly & quarterly forecast of business
Act as a representative of Autodesk; give presentations to client groups at thought leadership events
Effectively negotiate deals and contracts at various levels within the targeted account, with primary focus/importance on “C” and enterprise level negotiations
Serve as main point of contact for assigned accounts, partnering with internal and external resources to achieve sales objectives
Proactively generate new business billings by developing leads and creatively expanding selected accounts billings
Effectively sell complex service engagements and creatively seek alternative solutions where necessary
Minimum Qualifications
4 year Degree or any equivalent relevant professional experience
Proven sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasiveness, ability and excellent communications skills
Experience in Software industry / Software sales coupled with the ability to deal with customers at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution
Strong Business ethics
Results orientated, with a natural ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
Must be willing to travel 50% or more of time in order to achieve sales target
