The team works collaboratively across sales, marketing, and product to identify high-value prospects, understand market needs, and connect clients with relevant data, insight, and workflow solutions. The Impact:

As an Enterprise Account Executive – SDR, you will play a key role in building pipeline and supporting revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities. You will research target accounts, initiate outreach, conduct discovery conversations, and nurture prospects through the early stages of the sales funnel. Your work will directly support client acquisition, market expansion, and the wider commercial success of the With Intelligence business.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and research potential clients across the alternative asset management sector, using market insight, prospect data, and account intelligence to prioritize high-value opportunities.

  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists that support new business generation and align with the team’s broader growth objectives.

  • Initiate and maintain contact with prospects through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels, tailoring messaging to the needs of each account.

  • Qualify leads by conducting discovery conversations to understand their business requirements, budget, and decision-making processes.

  • Nurture relationships with prospects by providing relevant information, managing follow-up activity, and helping move qualified opportunities through the sales funnel.

  • Collaborate closely with sales colleagues to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified opportunities, sharing clear context, prospect needs, and next-step recommendations.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track outreach activity, and provide regular updates on pipeline progress, while managing priorities effectively to meet agreed deadlines and targets.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and With Intelligence offerings, using this knowledge to improve prospect conversations and identify new opportunities for innovation.

  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
     

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have experience in sales development or lead generation, particularly in the alternative asset management or financial services industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Results-oriented with the ability to meet and exceed targets.

  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales engagement tools, with the ability to maintain accurate records and use data to support prioritization.

  • Ability to conduct effective discovery conversations, interpret prospect needs, and communicate relevant information clearly to internal stakeholders.

  • Able to remain positive and focused when facing challenges, setbacks, or changing priorities.

  • We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

  • Experience working with incomplete or conflicting information to identify options and recommend next steps in non-routine prospect or account situations.

  • Ability to engage with and influence peers and immediate leadership, contributing constructively to team goals and commercial outcomes.

  • Proactive approach to identifying opportunities for innovation, improving sales processes, and using relevant data to enhance outreach effectiveness.
