About the Role

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and highly consultative Enterprise Account Executive & Engagement Manager to drive our newly launched AI Forward Deployment Engineering (FDE) business in Hong Kong.

This is not a traditional transactional software or training sales role. It is a hybrid business development and client-facing advisory role designed for a professional who can speak both the language of business value (to CFOs, COOs, and HRDs) and the language of agile technical delivery (to our FDEs and Tech Architects).

You will own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle: from initiating strategic conversations with local conglomerates, hospitality giants, and blue-chips, to running high-level discovery workshops, scoping "AI Transformation Pod" retainers, and managing client expectations throughout delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Consultative Business Development & Pipeline Growth

  • Target Enterprise Accounts: Proactively target, engage, and build relationships with C-Suite executives (CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and Heads of Transformation) in Hong Kong’s enterprise, hospitality, real estate, and financial services sectors.
  • Value-Based Solution Selling: Pitch complex, high-value AI solutions, including Scoping Audits, Monthly Capacity-Based Retainers ("AI Pods"), and performance-linked (Gain-Share) implementations.
  • High-Value Deal Structuring: Manage complex sales cycles from initial outreach to contract signing, targeting Total Contract Values (TCV) ranging from HKD 500,000 to HKD 2M+.



2. Engagement Management & Technical Scoping

  • The Bridge to Delivery: Collaborate with Preface’s Solutions Architects and FDEs to draft tailored Statement of Works (SOWs), defining boundaries, system integration points, and high-level process maps.
  • Client Workshop Facilitation: Lead or co-facilitate "Design Thinking for AI" and "Workflow Mapping" sessions with client business units to identify operational bottlenecks and prototype opportunities.
  • ROI Modeling: Partner with client finance teams to build business cases, calculating pre- and post-AI workforce ratios (Human-to-AI agent optimisation) and margin impact.



3. Account Stewardship & Value Tracking

  • Client Relationship Custody: Act as the trusted commercial partner for key accounts, ensuring Preface remains their long-term AI change and optimisation partner.
  • Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs): Host milestone meetings with client leadership, presenting the "AI Value Dashboard," tracking delivery velocity, and aligning on the upcoming sprint priorities.
  • Account Expansion: Identify additional departments and new use-cases within existing accounts to upsell and expand the scope of active FDE Pods.



Requirements

  • Consulting Pedigree: 5 to 8 years of professional experience, with a strong preference for alumni from Management Consulting (Big 4, Accenture, boutique tech/strategy advisory) or enterprise B2B SaaS account management.
  • AI Native Curiosity & Tech-Fluent Business Thinker: You possess an innate drive to understand how AI transforms work whilst you don't need to write code, you must thoroughly understand modern software concepts (APIs, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, and enterprise data security) to credibly scope client workflows.
  • Proven Closer of Complex Services: Track record of owning a revenue quota and successfully closing high-value, intangible service contracts or bespoke software transformation projects.
  • Exceptional Process Mapper: Strong capability in analysing business operations, dissecting workflow steps, and defining a clear "As-Is" vs. "To-Be" operational state.
  • Growth, Builder & Agile mindset: Comfortable with the ambiguity of a fast-growing, pivoting startup environment where you help define the playbook continuously adapt to new challenges.
  • Language skills: Native or near-native fluency in Cantonese and professional fluency in English (both written and spoken) is mandatory, as you will actively pitch to local Hong Kong business leaders and global conglomerates.

Skills Required

  • 5 to 8 years professional experience, ideally from management consulting (Big 4/Accenture/boutique) or enterprise B2B SaaS account management
  • Deep understanding of modern AI and software concepts (APIs, LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, enterprise data security) to credibly scope workflows
  • Proven track record owning revenue quota and closing high-value, complex services or bespoke transformation contracts
  • Strong process mapping and business operations analysis skills to define As-Is and To-Be states
  • Comfortable with startup ambiguity and a growth, builder, agile mindset
  • Native or near-native Cantonese and professional fluency in English (written and spoken)
