Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Revenue Cycle or billing-related responsibilities in a physician practice setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be very organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication, organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Skilled in problem-solving and critical thinking
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field
- Experience working with Epic Systems
- Experience with Symplr or other similar credentialing software
- Familiarity with professional billing terminology and provider enrollment standards
Education
- Associates Degree in Business, Health Administration, or related field

Job Responsibilities
- Runs, reviews, interprets, analyzes, and validates revenue cycle reports for provider enrollment holds. Ensures the integrity of data provided to all areas of the revenue cycle and other areas of the organization is necessary for good decision making.
- Conducts revenue cycle analysis, specific to enrollment, and provides trends as needed by revenue cycle leadership team to ensure accuracy with charge holds.
- Manages enrollment holds in Epic through use of a Provider Enrollment Table. Utilizes SharePoint to place providers’ initial enrollment holds and track credentialing status using Microsoft Access. Utilizes Symplr to guide releasing holds.
- Has detailed knowledge on Children’s provider enrollment hold practices and can communicate accurately to Practice Leadership. Provides feedback to practice leaders when providers’ holds are modified based on enrollment status.
- Provides support for accurate professional charge submission using Epic Charge Review and Claim Edit work queues. Provides proactive support for claim denials related to provider enrollment status.
- Acts as a resource and reference for the system related to provider enrollment holds.
- Supports and participates in the continuous assessment and improvements of the quality of services provided.
