In this highly visible role, you'll serve as a trusted guide for prospective students exploring Maryville's online undergraduate and graduate programs. Through consultative conversations, personalized support, and exceptional service, you'll help students determine whether Maryville is the right fit for their educational and professional aspirations while guiding them through the enrollment process from inquiry to enrollment.

What You'll Do

As an Enrollment Advisor, you'll play a critical role in helping Maryville achieve enrollment goals while ensuring every prospective student receives a personalized, supportive experience.

Student Recruitment & Relationship Building

  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective students interested in Maryville's online undergraduate and graduate programs.
  • Connect with prospective students through phone calls, emails, text messages, and virtual meetings.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to understand students' goals, motivations, and educational needs.
  • Guide students through admissions, enrollment, and financial processes while helping them make informed decisions about their future.

Enrollment Strategy & Conversion

  • Recommend and implement strategies to increase student engagement and improve conversion throughout the enrollment funnel.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the prospective student experience and support enrollment growth.
  • Partner with colleagues to develop creative solutions that improve enrollment outcomes and student satisfaction.

Student Advocacy & Onboarding

  • Support newly admitted students as they prepare for registration, orientation, and the transition into online learning.
  • Collaborate with Student Success, Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, and other university partners to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Proactively identify and address barriers that may impact enrollment, including financial aid concerns, technology challenges, or other student needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate throughout the enrollment journey.

CRM Management & Enrollment Operations

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all student interactions within the CRM system.
  • Monitor application progress and ensure timely communication regarding deadlines, requirements, and next steps.
  • Track enrollment activity, maintain data integrity, and provide regular updates regarding recruitment progress and enrollment outcomes.
  • Utilize data and insights to effectively manage your pipeline and prioritize outreach efforts.

Enrollment Goals & Team Collaboration

  • Meet established enrollment goals, conversion targets, and daily activity benchmarks.
  • Participate in regular team meetings focused on performance, student feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute innovative ideas that enhance the student experience and support institutional enrollment objectives.

Events & Outreach

  • Represent Maryville University during virtual and, when needed, in-person recruitment events, webinars, information sessions, and open house programs.
  • Build excitement and engagement among prospective students while showcasing the value of a Maryville education.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize CRM and student information systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One or more years of experience in a phone-based, metrics-driven environment.
  • Experience in higher education, admissions, enrollment management, sales, customer success, recruiting, or student services.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce and student information systems such as Ellucian Colleague.
  • Experience discussing financial aid options and helping students navigate funding resources.
  • Knowledge of online education and virtual learning environments.
  • Understanding of outreach, recruitment, or enrollment marketing strategies.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position requires flexibility to support prospective students when they are most available. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required to support recruitment events, enrollment activities, and student needs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $55,000-$62,000 annually
    • Actual compensation will be commensurate with education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
