Job DescriptionAre you a passionate and dedicated Enrolled (IV/Medication Qualified) Nurse (EN) looking to make a difference in a friendly, collaborative environment? We are seeking motivated ENs to join our busy Scrub-Scout Perioperative team. As a Scrub Scout you will play a dual perioperative role, alternating between prepping and passing sterile instruments directly to the surgeon at the operating table and managing the broader theatre environment, safety checks, and unsterile supplies from the periphery.
As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.
About You
You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse with IV and Medication Qualifications [No Notations].
- Minimum 1-2 years' recent experience in an acute surgical/medical environment.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Availability from Monday to Friday (Weekends are yours to enjoy!)
- Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.
