onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join their PSG Product Engineering team. As a Product Engineer (Cost & Quality), you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic high paced team environment, supporting PSG PTE organization in meeting Cost and Quality goals.
- Own Product Engineering performance metrics related to cost reduction, scrap reduction, yield improvement, and quality performance.
- Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis, lead ideation sessions, and drive the execution of improvement initiatives.
- Lead report automation efforts and develop performance dashboards, analytics tools, and data solutions to improve Product Engineering efficiency and decision-making.
- Lead periodic KPI reviews with stakeholders and drive action plans to achieve performance targets.
- Partner with product owners to make data-driven decisions and prioritize resources on high-impact improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement analytical models, predictive algorithms, and statistical approaches to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives focused on cost reduction, yield improvement, quality enhancement, and operational excellence.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline, with a strong technical foundation in semiconductor devices, circuits, and engineering principles.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Semiconductor Product Engineering, Test Engineering, or a related field, with hands-on involvement in product support, yield improvement, quality issue resolution, and manufacturing optimization.
Demonstrated leadership experience in driving cross-functional projects and business-critical initiatives, with a proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in cost, yield, quality, or operational performance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Advanced programming, data analysis, and statistical analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, Minitab, DataPower, and Exensio.
Experience with Power BI, Snowflake, SQL, Python, or other data analytics platforms is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, device physics, product testing methodologies, performance characterization, and reliability engineering.
