onsemi is looking for a self-driven and motivated professional to join their Test Engineering team. As a Test Engineer in the Intelligent Sensing Group’s Automotive Solutions Division, you will drive testing and support validation of CMOS image sensor products at test houses around the world. You will engage with product teams as a Test representative through the various phases of product lifecycle from concept to mass production. Your primary role will be to develop and troubleshoot test routines for automated test equipment as part of the new product development process to ensure the quality of our automotive products that are being used in cutting edge applications in the autonomous driving industry.
· Lead new product development activities related to production test and product validation
· Develop test routines for novel device features and leading-edge products
· Gain expertise in CMOS image product features, function, and testing
· Build experience with automated test equipment related to wafer probe and package test in a high-volume production environment
· Plan and execute successful product test bring up from concept through mass production
· Perform product debug and characterization to support other product team members with validation and characterization of CMOS image sensors
· Collaborate with domestic and international team members to solve product test issues
· Manage and perform test correlations for new products and test program releases
· Support the operations group and product managers as first technical contact for product test issues
· Interact with internal and external teams to facilitate efficient deployment of product test in subcontracted test houses
Responsibilities Qualifications
Requirements:
· Bachelor of Science Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or related discipline required
· Relevant experience in semiconductor test preferred
· Basic understanding of CMOS image sensors preferred
· Excellent written and spoken English skills
· Ability to program and learn new programming languages is a must
· Experience with high level programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, VB) preferred
