**Requirement: U.S. citizenship
**Location: Remote / as needed
Global Language Strategies seeks a freelance / contract linguist (legal translator and/or editor to perform legal services for a United States Government client. Must possess at least three years of experience translating and/or editing legal content with a knowledge of correct legal and technical terms in English to Czech to English. This is a freelance, as-needed position.

Requirements
Qualifications include:
- Three years of experience providing professional legal language services.
- Extensive legal language service experience is required
- Bachelor's degree in a foreign language, linguistics, or comparable field required
- Must be able to use CAT tools (if translator or editor); experience using Trados preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and understanding of language services
- Advanced proficiency in reading/writing/listening and speaking in English and the target foreign language(s)
- Available during 9-5 EST most days to take on-demand assignments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Skills Required
