Position Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on Full Stack Tech Lead to join SciPlay’s SciTech group. The platform team behind our core systems, including payments and e-commerce flows. You’ll take ownership of technical direction, lead by example, and stay deeply involved in coding and solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own architecture, design decisions, and technical standards across the stack
- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, scalability, and technical excellence
- Develop and maintain back-end services with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core.
- Build and optimize mobile-first web apps using TypeScript, React, and JSX.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services across the full SDLC.
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders
- Lead code reviews and promote best practices, performance, and security.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of full-stack development experience.
- Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer owning complex systems
- Strong back-end skills in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or Python.
- Solid knowledge of SQL & NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong front-end skills with HTML, CSS, and modern best practices.
- Experience with modern version control systems (Git, Mercurial).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Previous tech lead experience.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), and AWS services (RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, Fargate).
- Familiarity with microservices (Node.js, Lambda) and containerization (Docker, Vagrant).
- Background working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
