With the massive scale and growth of monday.com, the Dev Tools group sets out to simplify development flow and increase developers’ velocity, while pushing high code standards and consistency across projects.
The Dev Engine team at monday.com is part of the DevTools group, focused on empowering developers to work efficiently and confidently at scale. We tackle challenges in monorepo management, PR tooling, CI/CD pipelines, local development environments, and AI-powered developer tools. Our work drives innovation and enhances the developer experience across the organization.
About The Role:
- Team Leadership: Manage and support a team of 3-5 engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Strategic Direction: Define and execute a technical roadmap for initiatives including monorepos, build tools, and AI-driven developer tooling.
- Technical Guidance: Ensure the team delivers robust, scalable solutions while leveraging technologies like Nx, TypeScript, Node.js, and GitHub Actions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other teams to address shared challenges and continuously improve the developer experience.
- Talent Development: Mentor team members, helping them grow their technical and leadership skills.

With the massive scale and growth of monday.com, the Dev Tools group sets out to simplify development flow and increase developers’ velocity, while pushing high code standards and consistency across projects. We create local development tools, a self-service portal, and UI libraries that create consistency and reduce the mental load on developers, allowing them to focus on writing their business logic and reach production fast.
Requirements
We’re looking for one of two profiles:
Experienced People Manager
- Proven track record of managing high-performing technical teams (5+ years in leadership roles).
- Experience leading platform or infrastructure teams, even if not deeply familiar with specific technologies.
Technical Leader
- Deep expertise in areas such as monorepos, CI/CD pipelines, PR tooling, or microfrontends.
- Prior leadership experience as a team lead, tech lead, or similar.
Skills & Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse teams toward common goals.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with platform engineering, developer tools, and infrastructure best practices is a plus.
- Passion for improving the developer experience through innovative tools and processes
