monday.com is looking for an Engineering Team Leader with a passion for infrastructure and tooling, to lead our vision and implementation around development experience, as part of the Dev Tools group. You will join our R&D based in our headquarters, Tel Aviv, Israel.

With the massive scale and growth of monday.com, the Dev Tools group sets out to simplify development flow and increase developers’ velocity, while pushing high code standards and consistency across projects. We create local development tools, a self-service portal, and UI libraries that create consistency and reduce the mental load on developers, allowing them to focus on writing their business logic and reach production fast.


About The Role:

  • Own the entire developers’ ecosystem from local development to production.
  • Build our developer portal called "Sphera" which empowers R&D to manage our services ecosystem, perform self-service actions, and provide more control and better visibility as well as help in defining the happy path and best practices.
  • Answer all the following questions - “How do developers spin up their environment, which tools do they use, how much time does it take, and how do I create a new microservice..?”
  • Lead a team of highly talented engineers, working closely with multiple engineering teams across R&D, while taking full ownership end-to-end on impactful projects.
  • Manage our groups' Kubernetes cluster and AWS account which runs our services and are used by the entire R&D
  • Our stack: Node.js, React, Typescript, AWS, K8S, Terraform, Helm, ArgoCD, and much more.
