Responsibilities

As a Engineering Support Specialist at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you’ll play a significant role in driving the success of engineering support activities for diverse projects and initiatives. You will assist engineers in executing key functions, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and supporting the delivery of innovative and efficient solutions. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet engineering support requirements. You will actively engage in customer issue resolution, process improvements, and employee development initiatives. 

In this role, you will play a key role as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to essential projects that drive the future of aerospace Navigation, Inertial Sensing and hardware systems.

  • Assist engineers in executing project plans and delivering advanced engineering support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective project execution.
  • Provide technical assistance in resolving complex problems.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage tasks including purchase orders, ATP updates, milestone tracking, capital project planning, proposal tracking, and export classification.
  • Handle training and onboarding, including file access, application requests (e.g., MATLAB, JIRA, SVN), and documentation for new employees
  • Oversee HG9900 and PRSM data package generation and tracking, CET Lab inventory management, and connector saver tagging (GMLRS and PRSM orders).
  • Manage property/software sheet tracking and ensure annual task completion, including property tagging, GP10 scrapping, and MetTeam additions.
  • Perform SOD printing and license management responsibilities.
  • Track critical information for capacity models and project milestones.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance engineering operations and team efficiency.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an engineering support or related roles.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

  • Associate of Arts (AA) or vocational or applied degree.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
