About Lakewood Regional Support
Our regional support center provides resources to our hotels for multiple areas including Human Resources, Engineering, Purchasing, Accounting, Security, Group Reservations, Guest Contact Center, Information Technology, Laundry and Communications.
What We’re Looking For:
A proactive and detail-oriented Engineering Supervisor who will lead the engineering team in maintaining property assets to the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and quality. In this leadership role, you’ll oversee daily operations, manage preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and regulatory requirements. What You’ll Do:
Supervise and direct daily operations of the engineering team to ensure optimal performance
Assign work orders and monitor completion for accuracy and quality
Address maintenance related guest concerns in collaboration with department heads
Oversee preventive maintenance programs to meet safety and operational standards
Train, coach, and evaluate engineering staff to enhance skills and performance
Ensure compliance with ADA requirements and maintain inspection checklists
Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies to optimize efficiency
Manage equipment and supply inventory to support daily operations
Conduct periodic inspections of property assets to ensure maintenance meets standards
Administer key control, tool control, and security-related maintenance procedures
Coordinate with Security to maintain locking systems and sensitive equipment
Attend departmental and hotel-wide meetings to align with operational goals
Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and hotel policies

Your Qualifications Include:
Minimum 3+ years of maintenance experience
1+ year of supervisory or lead experience preferred
Working knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration and Life Safety operating systems
Knowledge of OSHA regulations, equipment operation and maintenance, record-keeping and reporting systems
Knowledge of computer based operating systems
Preferred knowledge of: HotSOS, transcendent, luthron, JCI and Niagra
Ability to stand, stoop, bend repetitively, pull, push, climb ladders, work outside, extensive walking and lift up to 75 lbs
Valid Florida Driver’s License required
EPA certification is a Plus
Basic MEP knowledge preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and written with team members, leaders and guests required.
