We are looking for an Engineering Specialist to optimize and maintain existing products and processes while ensuring continuous improvement in quality, cost, and customer satisfaction. This position will be Full-Time and Onsite.
What You’ll Do
Optimize existing products based on information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operations, development engineers, or other personnel
Maintain existing products, processes, and specifications, including:
Modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies.
Initiating and implementing programs to continuously improve quality and cost while meeting customer requirements.
Support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements
Develop and modify detailed drawings and/or conceptual models from layouts, rough sketches, or notes
Run individual small projects or project tasks, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and deliverables
What You'll Need
Required
Basic knowledge of technical tools specific to the job function, e.g., CAD, CAE, industrial or quality engineering tools
Basic awareness of general engineering tools such as LEAN or 6-sigma methodologies (e.g., DoE, FMEA, QFD)
Preferred
Experience working on product optimization projects
Familiarity with manufacturing techniques and economies
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

$48.00 per houThe pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
