Job Description

Summary

The EPM, Engineering Project Manager, is responsible for developing Audio Amplifiers for automotive applications audio systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with customer, OEMs, requirements and specifications for products such as audio amplifiers and related products.
  • Thoroughly understand customer requirements, specifications, and expectations.
  • Create and maintain an internal database for products, audio amplifiers, and customer-issued specifications.
  • Manage Bose products and negotiate testing with customers.
  • Participate in internal and external design reviews, leading customer design reviews for assigned products.
  • Conduct and support internal development, including circuit design review, PCB design review, component selection review, EMC review, drawing review, and BOM review.
  • Oversee prototype builds and delivery arrangements.
  • Support system integration for vehicle-level and system-level operation checks, reviews, and issue resolution.
  • Conduct detailed amplifier measurements and evaluations as needed.
  • Manage project-related documents and drawings, both internally and externally.
  • Handle customer open issue databases and internal open issue databases.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Experience in electrical or system design, analysis, and measurement.
  • Hands-on engineering experience.
  • Experience in system requirement management.
  • Preferred experience in automotive system engineering.
  • Create documents with MS office with touch typing.
