Position Summary

Are you the technical expert with project manager experience brought in for site specific projects? If so, this may be the role for you! As the Engineering Project Manager, you will develop, coordinate, and manage business unit capital projects to deliver against key objectives of growth, revenue, product quality, and operational efficiencies. While providing strong collaboration with internal and external cross functional resources to ensure alignment with key stakeholders, you are also responsible to develop, align, and implement engineering standards across the business unit to improve effectiveness of project planning, execution, and completion.
Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of strategic projects to help Wine & Spirit's facilities meet capital plan commitments, manage priorities, and maintain key stakeholders aligned and communicated

Front end planning support: provide support for front end planning activities. Providing guidance on scope, schedule, and budget estimates for potential projects

Ensure all project documentation including project plans, status reports, issues, risks, costs, schedules, and quality components are well documented and communicated throughout the lifecycle of projects.

Collaborate with cross functional team and business stakeholders to manage project scope decisions, critical financial decisions, and change controls, escalate when necessary

Support the development of master plans, capital plans, and budgets in partnership with the Director of Engineering Support Services and key business unit stakeholders

Manage day to day vendor relations, performance, and project expectations

Support M&A business assessments and project activities, as needed

Collaborate with engineering and cross functional colleagues on best practice application developing a culture of high performance

Develop project management tools for use by broader engineering team and site partners
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline
-
5+ years of experience managing engineering, maintenance and/or operations related projects (i.e. yields, quality, OEE, automation, facilities, compliance, etc.) in a manufacturing environment

Travel: 25%, visiting wineries, distilleries and vendors. Project Manager is expected to be onsite throughout the duration of projects while in active construction.

Demonstrated ability to project manage multi-million dollars, complex and multi-phase projects

Strong analytical skills, planning skills, and ability to prioritize work effectively

Proficient in at least 1 of these 3 software applications /skills: AutoCAD, Smartsheet, Microsoft project, and P&ID design

Excellent communications and influencing skills

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of experience managing engineering, maintenance and/or operations related projects (i.e. yields, quality, OEE, automation, facilities, compliance, etc.) in a manufacturing environment

Fortune 500 CPG, food and/or beverage industry experience

Experience with SAP

Master’s degree

PMP certification

Lean certification

The salary range for this role is:
$92,500.00 - $146,900.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
