Let’s talk about Responsibilities:

Project Management  

  • The primary objective of Engineering Project Management (PD) specialization within Project Management (PD) Job Family is to manage product development programs from concept phase through to launch in accordance with internal and external standards and requirements to deliver these products to market in agreed timescales, quality and budget; securing organizational commitment and resources. 

  • Included in this is strong project leadership to drive end-to-end project delivery. 

  • Ensuring that feasible and realistic project plans are developed incorporating evidence-based timelines. 

  • As well as ensuring that appropriate risk management has been undertaken and strong communication with all key stakeholders is maintained pre-project to obtain buy in and throughout the project life cycle.   

  • Focuses on the development and implementation of strategic and operational objectives that help achieve organisational mission. Implements organization strategies through the effective direction and management of employees and resources. 

  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company. 

  • Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team. 

  • Coaches team members on performance, provide inputs for performance evaluations. 

Engineering Team Management 

  • Providing leadership, to grow and maximize the performance and efficiency of the Engineering team (4~5 engineers) 

  • Work closely with system and subsystem team, ensure the delivery of V&V activities with high quality and efficiency 

  • Build a high-performance and collaborative team culture 

 

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or above in Engineering 

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in project management in medical devices industries 

  • Experience in leading small engineering teams, be familiar with V&V and Design transfer activities 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability 

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
