Snowflake is about empowering enterprises to achieve their full potential — and people too. With a culture that’s all in on impact, innovation, and collaboration, Snowflake is the sweet spot for building big, moving fast, and taking technology — and careers — to the next level.

We’re at the forefront of the data revolution, committed to building the world’s greatest data and applications platform. Snowflake is striving to become the cloud data platform of choice for everyone who needs affordable, reliable, scalable and elastic data management. Armed with great technical talent, our expanding product offering is designed for the cloud and automatically handles infrastructure, optimization, availability, data protection, and more so our users can focus on using their data, not managing it. And we’re doing this across all the major cloud providers, breaking new ground in what it means to be multi-cloud and cloud agnostic.

We are looking to hire an organized, hands-on Engineering Program Manager to own engineering upskilling programs, most notably the flagship end-to-end onboarding experience for our Engineering new hires. In this role, you will be the face of the organization for new hires, ensuring their first weeks are productive, educational, and inspiring. Our ‘get it done’ culture allows everyone at Snowflake to have an equal opportunity to innovate on new ideas, create work with a lasting impact, and excel in a culture of collaboration.

AS AN ENGINEERING PROGRAM MANAGER, YOU WILL:
  • Own the Engineering and Product Management Bootcamps, as well as support all Engineering training initiatives, including manager onboarding and area-specific upskilling in subjects like AI use.

  • Act as the bridge between new hires, Engineering leadership, and subject matter experts.

  • Drive the schedule, curate content, moderate sessions, collaborate with instructors, and build the community.

  • Identify opportunities to improve and amplify the impact of Snowflake training.

  • Lead programs outside of training such as customer feedback and engineering productivity.

AN ENGINEERING PROGRAM MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE IS EXPECTED TO HAVE:
  • 5+ years of demonstrated industry experience and expertise leading medium to large programs in the software industry

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups

  • Strong program management skills with technical and business acumen

  • Ability to thrive and succeed in a dynamic environment not slowed down by ambiguity or competing priorities

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills

  • BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience (e.g. familiarity with SQL, Python, Data)

Every Snowflake employee is expected to follow the company’s confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data. Snowflake employees must abide by the company’s data security plan as an essential part of their duties. It is every employee's duty to keep customer information secure and confidential.

Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
