The opportunity is to join the team as Engineering Manager in the R&D team. You will manage a team of engineers responsible for the technical development of the product, providing technical guidance and collaborating with other teams and stakeholders. Balancing technical leadership, project management, and team development activities, contributing to the overall success of the engineering function within an organization, building the product.

In details, you will:

  • Lead and manage a team of developers, providing guidance, mentorship and support.

  • Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of engineering projects.

  • Support the PO to set project goals, timelines and priorities in alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering team.

  • Work closely with product managers, designers and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between engineering efforts and overall business objectives.

  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring process for new engineering team members.

  • Contribute to the development of the technical strategy and roadmap.

  • Implement and iterate on best practices to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

  • Work with senior management to manage the engineering budget.

Hard Skills:

  • At least 10 years of experience in the tech and software development world.

  • Software development background.

  • Strong knowledge and experience in Cloud environments (Azure, AWS, and Google).

  • Experience with at least one of these technological stacks (TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, React, .NET, Spring Boot, Node.js), databases (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB), DevOps & Infra (Kafka, NATS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Git, GitLab, Jira).

  • Preferential experience in a Product company.
