The Engineering Manager will lead a multidisciplinary software engineering team consisting of Front-End, Back-End, and Full-Stack Developers. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, fostering team growth, and ensuring high-quality delivery across all application layers. The Engineering Manager will collaborate closely with product management, UX, architecture, and cross-functional stakeholders to define technical direction, accelerate execution, and ensure alignment with business goals.

This leadership position requires a strong technical foundation in modern web technologies (Angular/React), server-side engineering (Java/Spring), and software architecture best practices. The ideal candidate brings a people-first leadership style, experience managing senior-level engineers, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, matrixed, and innovation-driven environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership
  • Provide technical guidance across front-end, back-end, and full-stack development areas.

  • Lead architectural discussions, technical design reviews, and decision-making processes.

  • Ensure engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines are consistently followed.

  • Oversee implementation of scalable, maintainable, and secure systems across all application layers.

  • Drive adoption of modern tools, frameworks, and engineering methodologies.

Team Management & Development
  • Manage and mentor a team of senior engineers with diverse technical backgrounds.

  • Foster a culture of learning, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Support career development through coaching, performance feedback, and personalized growth plans.

  • Lead recruiting and hiring efforts to build a high-performing engineering organization.

Execution & Delivery
  • Coordinate feature delivery, sprint planning, and roadmap alignment with product management.

  • Ensure timely and high-quality execution of development activities across multiple workstreams.

  • Oversee code reviews, testing strategies, and release planning to ensure operational excellence.

  • Track key performance indicators such as velocity, code quality, and system performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility and smooth implementation of design systems.

  • Work closely with product managers to refine requirements, define solutions, and prioritize work.

  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and architecture teams to ensure end-to-end delivery alignment.

  • Facilitate communication between engineering, business leaders, and global stakeholders.

Process & Continuous Improvement
  • Champion engineering process optimization and workflow improvements across the team.

  • Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and automation practices.

  • Promote data-informed decision making using metrics, KPIs, and engineering dashboards.

  • Drive initiatives that improve scalability, performance, and developer productivity.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.

  • Strong hands-on background in software development (front-end, back-end, or full-stack).

  • Solid understanding of Angular or React, Java/Spring, microservices, and modern web architecture.

  • Experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams in complex, matrixed environments.

  • Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern development practices.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills (English).

  • Ability to mentor senior engineers and drive alignment across multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise-grade software development and large-scale system architecture.

  • Familiarity with component libraries, design systems, and UX/UI implementation considerations.

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts and how they can be integrated into software systems.

  • Background in improving engineering operations through automation, metrics, and process refinement.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical vision and actionable plans.
