For our IMS team, we're seeking a Senior Engineering Manager who is interested in building solutions, developing and leading a team of engineers. You'll be mentoring and driving technical excellence while tackling customer challenges head-on.
The IMS team is focused on providing customer facing functionality and interfaces for Shipmonk services. In fact IMS is the main entry-point for all integrations including our customer, clients and 3rd parties. IMS domain itself includes API to API integrations as well as tools and applications that are being used directly by end users to manage integrations, workflows and lifecycle of products, orders, returns etc in Shipmonk application suite. The team drives continuous innovation to improve observability, optimize maintenance and provide top quality services and interface contracts to consumers of our business and technical services. IMS is working closely with other WMS domains (B2B, D2C, Returns, Special Projects) to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Skills & ResponsibilitiesStakeholder management:

- Excellent grasp of modern technologies across front end, back end, cloud, and data platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to lead team strategy, development, and operations effectively.
People leadership & team management:
- Proven experience managing and scaling high-caliber engineering teams.
- Inspiring and engaging leadership style with a vision-setting ability.
- Strong history of attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate a progressive technology culture.
- Proficient in implementing effective structures, processes, and practices for engineering success.
- Comfortable making difficult decisions as an established leader.
Highly strategic and commercially astute:
- Strong prioritization skills to guide teams effectively.
- Insight into product strategy and the ability to develop business plans.

- Ideally, background includes working in customer-centric environments integrating technology into business strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and grow teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Experience in hiring & recruitment and building empowered product engineering teams.
- Agile development experience is essential.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Management to balance technical constraints while delivering value to customer that is aligned with business objectives
- Familiarity with OKR methodology and being outcome-driven
