🚀 Lead High-Performance Engineering Teams While Delivering Complex, Impactful ProjectsAt Tekton Labs, we’re looking for a strategic, people-first Engineering Manager with a strong technical foundation to join our Project Delivery Tribe (TaaS).
This role is critical to ensuring technical excellence, team growth, and successful delivery across multiple agile teams. You’ll combine technical leadership with people management, drive delivery health, and support pre-sales initiatives for global clients.

🛠️ Core Responsibilities🔧 Technical Leadership & DeliveryAct as Tech Lead in closed-scope projects or embedded agile squads when needed.
Promote and implement SDLC best practices across projects.
Provide hands-on technical support, unblock teams, and ensure architectural consistency.
Conduct technical evaluations and coding challenges across Java, .NET, Angular, and other stacks.
Validate and approve critical technical decisions and system architectures.
Manage the performance and growth of engineers across 2–4 projects (5–15 engineers total).
Lead 1:1s, performance review cycles, continuous feedback, and career development plans.
Mentor junior profiles and guide structured learning paths for trainees.
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and learning.
Monitor delivery KPIs and project health, identify risks, and propose improvements.
Contribute to evolving Tekton’s internal playbooks and SDLC practices.
Own onboarding documentation and ensure technical knowledge is shared and maintained.
Engage directly with clients to ensure delivery alignment and service quality.
Lead or support technical assessments and estimations during pre-sales cycles.
Proactively monitor project delivery, propose enhancements, and identify growth opportunities.
Act as a technical point of contact and trusted partner during ongoing service engagements.
Languages / Frameworks: Java, .NET, Angular (main), plus JavaScript, Node.js, Python
Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
Architecture: Microservices, distributed systems, cloud-native patterns
DevOps & CI/CD: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes
Best Practices: Agile, Scrum, TDD, SDLC, DevOps
6+ years of experience in software engineering
2+ years leading engineering teams (5–15 people)
Proven experience delivering projects with Agile, DevOps, and modern SDLC practices
Strong technical skills across Java, .NET, Angular
Experience in code reviews and architectural decision-making
Familiarity with performance cycles: feedback, goals, development plans
Experience with cloud infrastructure and distributed architectures
Advanced English (C1): Required for working with global clients
Experience scaling or restructuring engineering teams
Familiarity with OKRs, PIPs, and structured performance management
Background in consulting or multi-client delivery environments
Experience leading technical estimations and pre-sales processes
