As an Engineering Manager for the Partner Portal, you will be responsible for x360Portal product development, leading the engineering team, and cross-collaborating with the Product Management team. As a pivotal member of our engineering division, you will collaborate with a diverse team to create advanced solutions for our valued customers and partners.
We are seeking a strong Engineering Manager to join our global team and drive the development of our innovative software products. Success in this role requires critical thinking, a quick grasp of existing systems, and prior experience in leading product development teams. You should possess strong mentoring abilities and earn the respect of your team. Additionally, you should be adept at working in agile environments and be someone who can make smart, educated risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the team in defining objectives, delegating tasks, and establishing deadlines while overseeing day-to-day execution.
- Motivate team members by fostering an open communication culture in an inspiring team environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Management team to ensure alignment on goals and objectives.
- Employ a data-driven approach to performance management, fostering continuous team improvement.
- Implement agile methodologies to enhance productivity and product quality.
- Actively listen to team members, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Influence and evaluate technical decisions, ensuring adherence to engineering best practices and monitoring code quality.

- Demonstrate a passion for modern full-stack development and both public and private clouds.

Who You Are
- Over 8 years of hands-on professional experience in Software Development.
- Proven track record as an engineering manager/team lead/tech lead for over 2 years.
- Hands-on Engineering Manager who can deep dive into technical discussions to make the right architectural decisions for the product.
- Strong proficiency in full-stack technologies.
- Expertise in object-oriented analysis and design, leveraging common design patterns.
- Extensive experience with agile methodologies and scrum processes.
- Demonstrated capability in building complex web applications with robust functionality.
- Proficiency in working with public clouds such as AWS or GCP.
- Hands-on experience in API development and integration.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization technologies and patterns.
- Experience working with relational and non-relational databases.
- Strong focus on security principles and best practices.
- Solid expertise in JavaScript, Node.js, or Python development.
- Experience with popular front-end frameworks like React.js.
- Good understanding of microservice architecture
- Proficiency in unit testing methodologies.
- Experience developing public API developer portals is a plus.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures is a plus.
- Experience with Ember.js is a plus.
