Engineering Manager

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to manage a small group of high-performing, senior full stack engineers. In doing so, you will play a pivotal part in refining our analytics platform, optimizing performance, and enhancing security and scalability.

Your team's key responsibilities will be:

• : Refine our analytics engine to extract more nuanced insights from patient records, leveraging proprietary tools and advanced statistical methods.
• : Streamline recurring calculations, enhancing data transmission and storage methods to facilitate in-depth analysis at each stage of our analytics pipeline.
• : Improve our architecture to be more maintainable, testable and cost-effective.
• : Develop and integrate a regression testing framework into our analytics stack, ensuring robustness and reliability.

This role is fully remote within the US.

• 7-10 years of full-stack development experience, with a focus on backend and cloud-based solutions.
• 3+ years of experience managing a team of 3+ engineers, and/or mentoring junior engineers as a tech lead
• Expertise in Python and experience with Node.js for AWS Lambda functions.
• Familiarity with React
• Strong proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, Amplify, Cognito, Step Functions, CDK).
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools like AirFlow and dbt.
• Knowledge of database technologies (Postgres, DynamoDB) and familiarity with Snowflake.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven problem-solving skills and independence in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Experience in the health tech domain, particularly in hospital billing systems, is highly advantageous.
