YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE
We're looking for a Quality Manager – Fabrication to establish, lead, and sustain comprehensive quality systems across four manufacturing and supply chain facilities from our Justin, TX site. In this role, you'll own the development and execution of a robust Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and other applicable global standards, ensuring consistent product and process quality while meeting customer and organizational requirements. You'll work closely with Global Quality, Operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive a culture of quality accountability, risk-based thinking, and continuous improvement. This is an opportunity to strengthen operational performance and advance best practices across a multi-site environment through data-driven analysis and audit leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN
- Build strong, well-versed quality departments at four facilities
- Establish and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) compliant with relevant international standards and regulations
- Develop and execute a quality assurance strategy aligned with the organization's overall objectives
- Define and track key quality metrics to measure and report on the performance of products and processes
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management highlighting quality trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate quality-related risks
- Support compliance with global standards
- Partner with Global Quality, Operations Management, and other pertinent departments to ensure customer and Victaulic requirements are met
- Lead investigations into product non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Implement corrective action plans and monitor remediation effectiveness
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to QMS and identify areas for improvement
- Foster a culture of quality consciousness and accountability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on data analysis and feedback from various sources
- Implement best practices and lessons learned to enhance overall quality performance
- Assist with ISO 9001 audits and maintain all necessary records and procedures in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and company policy
WHAT YOU BRING
- 8–12+ years of experience in quality within manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain environments
- Experience working with global facilities
- Knowledge of Quality Systems such as ISO 9001
- Ability to quickly learn and understand new concepts
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver well-organized presentations to a large audience
- Ability to make independent decisions without supervisory assistance
- Deep knowledge of global manufacturing environments
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (Operations, EHS, Quality, Procurement)
- Analytical and risk management expertise
- Ability to influence plant leadership and senior executives
- Strong project management and audit capabilities

Skills Required
- B.S. in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- 5+ years in a leadership role
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or other solid modeling software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated strength in process improvement, metric development, and problem-solving
- Experience with Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to take on a wide variety of assignments, including intermittent travel up to 20%
- Familiarity with machinery, automation, mechanical equipment, and construction methods
- General knowledge of steel fabrication processes (welding, CNC milling, facing, etc.)
- Strong understanding of advanced engineering principles and solid mathematical aptitude
