• Build and foster “Quality for Everyone” culture by expanding quality responsibilities and ownership to engineers and product teams
• Specific tasks are as follows
• Recruiting, training, goal setting, giving evaluation and providing feedback to members

• Maximizing the results of members and supporting their career growth
• Get involved and manage QA tasks across the whole domain of our app
• Assigning members to projects and supporting the communication needed to carry them out
• Cross team collaboration with different stakeholders such as project managers, UX designers and engineering managers to propose and execute growth strategies

• In this position, you will be responsible for quality assurance for Mercari, a marketplace app with over 20 million monthly active users
• We are looking for people that are interested in our services, mission, and values, and want to work where engineers can go bold, use the latest technology, make autonomous decisions, and take on challenges at a rapid pace
• Apart from that, this position will allow you to think about quality from the customer’s point of view and how to assure quality from scratch
