About the Role:
The Engineering Manager for Product Experience Solutions will report to the Head of Engineering for the CDI Experience Organization. This role is pivotal in our transformation journey moving from a legacy home-grown PIM solution to a modern SaaS or PaaS solution. The PIM landscape integrates with various systems for sourcing content, digital assets, and product specifications, feeding into our sales and e-commerce platforms for both B2B and B2C. The successful candidate will lead the Engineering Area Product Experience, ensuring a comprehensive 360-degree experience for our consumers, marketers, content creators, and the digital team.
The CDI Experience Organization is a Digital Product Organization that is responsible for the delivery of Tech solutions to our end-users and consumers across both pre-purchase and post-purchase journeys. we are currently organized in about 15 product areas that range from Contact Center, E-commerce, Marketing, Identity to AI. You will be leading an exciting product area called Product Experience the core of which is our PIM solution.
What you’ll do:
Lead the engineering organization for Product Experience, driving the transformation to a modern SaaS or PaaS solution.
Lead integrations for sourcing and supplying data to consuming platforms, ensuring robust API and traditional integrations.
Partner with the Product Manager for Product Experience to drive roadmap planning and execution.
Manage stakeholder relationships across Business Area Europe and APAC.
Ensure the current operations of the platform run smoothly, with continuous improvements and timely delivery of ongoing projects.
Take lead on ensuring quality & uptime of the contents and assets in the brandsite and e-commerce sites
Be accountable for the budget, licences, software/ infra consumptions
Coach and guide developers/ engineers in your team through 1-1, team building and Community of Practice
Maintain a minimum of 30% hands-on involvement in coding, configuration, or building design/architecture of the platforms.
Who you are:
7-10 years of experience in engineering roles, with prior experience as a team lead or similar position.
Hands-on experience with PIM, Content Management, and Digital Asset Management platforms.
Experience working in a Digital Product Organization in Enterprise or scale-ups
Strong knowledge of E-commerce, front-end and CMS platforms
Strong knowledge of API integrations and familiarity with creating and consuming API specifications.
Background as a developer and/or architect is preferred.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Ability to liaise effectively within Tech & IT and with key business stakeholders.
