The Dropbox team is growing, and we’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Privacy Engineering team. In this role, you will lead a team of 5–7 engineers dedicated to building privacy-first infrastructure, automation, and user-facing controls that safeguard customer data and ensure Dropbox exceeds expectations around trust and compliance.
You and your team will work on critical systems such as data subject request (DSR) processing, data classification, preference management, and privacy settings. You will also help evolve Dropbox’s AI-era privacy posture by leveraging automation and machine learning to anticipate risks and prevent privacy-invasive events.
This role sits at the intersection of Engineering, Legal, Security, and Product. You will partner with these stakeholders to embed privacy into the foundation of Dropbox’s products and proactively comply with global privacy regulations, ensuring Dropbox continues to lead with customer trust.
