Our Team's Mandate
The core objective of our Engineering platform team is to empower product development teams by providing them with the self-service infrastructure, tools, and services they need to build, deploy, and operate applications efficiently and reliably.
By building a robust, well-documented, and user-friendly platform, they reduce cognitive load on individual developers, encourage best practices, and enable a higher degree of autonomy.

About You
As an Engineering Manager, you will lead 2 teams of engineers to build and scale platform solutions that empower healthier lives. Your strong technical background will help drive the design and development of reliant & resilient platform services.
You will foster a culture that prioritizes strategic technical improvements while also delivering team roadmap projects. You will build strong relationships with technical and project management leaders to increase platform adoption. You will have the opportunity to grow your people and leadership skills while creating an autonomous team.

 

What You Will Do
  • Design and develop robust platform services adhering to engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to deliver a cutting-edge platform roadmap.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive team environment.
  • Mentor and grow high-performing engineering teams, ensuring successful project delivery and career development.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Balance short-term needs with long-term platform investments to drive continuous improvement.
  • Adhere to all system operation policies including but not limited to Access Control, Encryption Control, Logging, Change Management, Platform Security, System Configuration, Physical and Incident Management policies

What You Bring

  • 5+ years experience building software applications
  • Experience leading platform development teams
  • Bonus: experience building authentication & authorization systems

  • Compliance with Information Security Policies

  • Ensure access management is performed in compliance with the employee's role and responsibilities
  • Responsibility and accountability for executing League's policies and procedures within the department/ team
  • Notification of HR, Legal, Compliance & Security of any incidents, breaches or policy violations

CANADA APPLICANTS ONLY: The Canada-specific compensation range below for this full-time position is exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position across all Canadian locations. Where in the band you may land is determined by job-related skills/experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range specific to your skills and experience during the hiring process.

$142,900$196,000 CAD
