Engineering Manager, Order Domain

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join the Order domain within Vinted Marketplace Engineering.

As the Engineering Manager for the Order Resolution team at Vinted, you will lead the engineering team responsible for the post-delivery experience - including order completion, buyer complaints, returns, lost parcels, and dispute resolution.

You will manage a team of 6 backend engineers, 3 frontend engineers, and 1 testing engineer. Together, you will build product experiences and technical systems that help millions of Vinted members resolve post-purchase issues quickly, fairly, and with as little friction as possible.

Your team will play an important role in one of Vinted’s top-priority marketplace-wide initiatives: reducing the need for customer support by proactively addressing root causes of member issues across shipping delays, lost parcels, returns, and payments - creating a smoother, more reliable marketplace experience.

In this role, you will also guide major technical initiatives, including moving complex order resolution workflows out of a monolith and into a modern Go microservice architecture powered by Temporal, Vitess, and Kafka. 

In your role, you will partner closely with Product, Design, Analytics, and Engineering stakeholders, grow and empower your engineers, and help scale resilient systems that protect millions of post-purchase experiences every day.
