Engineering Manager (Nevio)
Summary of the Role
The manager will coordinate a new team of software developers, business analysts, and QA professionals responsible for the servicing flow of Nevio for Offer. This includes flight changes, seat and ancillaries cross-sell, and refund use cases.
The new manager will guide the transformation of the line organization, including resource ramp-up, creation of an induction program, improvement of the engineering experience, and vision of the component.

In this role, you will:

Define and share the team’s roadmap and vision according to the department, division, and company objectives.

Report on team activities.

Be accountable for the performance and results of your team.

Develop plans and priorities to address resource and operational needs.

Suggest alternatives, improvements, or innovative approaches in processes, workflows, operational models, and plans.

Coordinate a new team of software developers, business analysts, and QA professionals responsible for the servicing flow of Nevio for Offer.

Guide the transformation of the line organization, including resource ramp-up, creation of an induction program, improvement of the engineering experience, and vision of the component.

Effectively manage the investigation and resolution of production support issues and customer inquiries.

Work closely with other software development, architecture, solutions, and QA teams to ensure that software systems are designed for testability, stability, scalability, and performance.

Ensure timely and appropriate communication to team members regarding organizational information.
About Ideal Candidate:

10 to 12 years in software development/computing science with a minimum of 3 years of experience in team management.

Ability to lead by example, communicate effectively, and build strong relationships.

Ability to navigate complex situations in a big company with multiple stakeholders.

Ability to provide clear direction and goals to the team.

Proficient in English.

Business Environment
In the OFR division, the department Offer Creation is at the heart of Nevio’s architecture, responsible for the creation of the offer and orchestration of the different microservices. We are leveraging modern technologies (Cloud Native Stack, microservices, event-driven architecture) to build a modular and scalable system. In a very fast expansion context, we are creating a new team to focus on Nevio’s project development. Many challenges are ahead of us!
