As Suno’s Android Engineering Manager, your main responsibility will be hiring and leading the teams that develop and maintain our mobile apps, with an emphasis on Android development.
What You’ll DoManage, develop, and grow a team of Android mobile engineers and team leads
Leadership responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, performance management, career development, and fostering team culture
Partner with other product and engineering leaders to facilitate cross-team alignment and coordinate execution across distributed engineering efforts
Ensure high code quality, robust testing, and scalable architecture while balancing rapid iteration with long-term maintainability and security requirements
7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years managing an Android mobile engineering team
Excel at both writing production code and leading engineering teams, with experience shipping complex features from concept to deployment
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and can balance multiple priorities while maintaining team focus
An obsession with great user experiences, getting the details right, iterating and learning rapidly, and working hard
Experience at a consumer tech company is preferred
Experience at both larger and smaller, high-growth companies is preferred
Experience scaling teams to 20+ software engineers is preferred
A love of music (listening, exploring, making) is preferred
