As a data analytics manager, your job will lead a team of data scientists, BI Analysts, and AI developers to execute tactical and strategic analytics projects that will align with and complement the division goals.
The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution - from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.
What You'll Do:
  • Talent Development & Mentorship: Lead 1-on-1s focused on career trajectory; coach BI analysts on advanced analytics and Data Scientists on business storytelling.
  • Technical Oversight & Quality Control: Provide high-level architecture and methodology reviews to ensure analytical integrity and data accuracy across all deliverables.
  • Workflow Optimization: Implement and manage analytics processes to ensure high team performance
  • Performance Management: Set clear KPIs for the team, manage performance reviews, and proactively remove technical or organizational blockers.
  • Culture Integration: Foster a collaborative environment where AI developers, Data Scientists, and BI analysts share knowledge and align their outputs.
  • Problem Framing & Scoping: Act as the primary intake point for stakeholders; translate vague business requests into concrete technical objectives.
  • Stakeholder Translation: Communicate complex model limitations and technical timelines to non-technical executives in a way that manages expectations and builds trust.
  • Strategic Prioritization: Weigh competing requests from various support organizations and align team effort with the highest-value business outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineering to ensure the data infrastructure supports the division's analytical goals.
  • AI Governance Framework: Manage the team to meet the standards for AI development, including validation protocols, ethical guardrails, and documentation practices.
  • Data Governance Stewardship: Ensure all team products adhere to company-wide data security, privacy, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions:
  • Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
  • May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.
  • May access other facilities in various weather conditions.

Short Term Incentive: Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
