Engineering Manager / Full Stack (AI native)

We are seeking a Russian-speaking Engineering Manager / Senior Full-Stack Developer with strong proficiency in React and Node.js, who thrives in a collaborative environment, can architect systems, write production grade code and guide a small engineering team while integrating AI powered workflows into the engineering process and the product itself. This role involves building intuitive interfaces and high-performance, scalable solutions that bridge frontend and backend systems to deliver an exceptional user experience.

Beyond writing code, you will set technical direction, review architecture decisions and mentor other engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to and uphold strong engineering processes including structured code reviews, testing standards, documentation, and disciplined release practices
• Develop and maintain robust, responsive web applications using React (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Build and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js with Hono framework
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend and backend components
• Implement performance optimization and secure coding practices
• Document code and contribute to continuous improvement processes
  

AI Native Development

• Integrate LLMs and AI assisted development workflows into engineering practices
• Use Claude Code and modern AI tooling to accelerate development cycles
• Design AI powered product features where relevant
• Explore and implement emerging AI frameworks and tools that improve engineering productivity

Technical Leadership

• Guide system architecture, engineering standards and disciplined development processes that ensure reliability, maintainability and long term scalability
• Conduct code reviews and mentor developers
• Support release planning and technical prioritization
• Help the team move quickly without sacrificing reliability

• AI-Augmented Development: Claude Code as primary development companion

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 7+ years in full-stack development with strong hands-on experience and 3+ years of active team management
• Versatility: Comfort working across the entire tech stack and willingness to jump in where needed
• Problem Solver: Able to take initiative and solve problems with minimal supervision
• Detail-Oriented: Write clean, maintainable code and care deeply about quality
• Collaborative: Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
• Russian language at working proficiency

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with financial systems, data visualization, or trading platforms
• Exposure to containerization, CI/CD, and cloud-native development
