Why you should join the FX & Cash Management Team
FX & Cash Management is one of the most impactful domains within Adyen’s financial platform. Our systems power real-time liquidity, enable multi-currency operations, and help scale the financial infrastructure behind Adyen’s global growth.
You’ll manage a team of 4 software engineers and work closely with Product and Treasury to build the foundation that keeps Adyen’s financial ecosystem stable, scalable, and future-ready.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and develop a team of software engineers working on FX rates, cash management, multi-currency accounts, and liquidity operations
- Drive delivery of large-scale projects end-to-end: from design to production
- Align engineering decisions with long-term product and platform strategy
- Own the technical vision for high-availability, low-latency financial systems
- Build a strong engineering culture through mentorship, direction, and feedback
- Partner with Product, Treasury, and other tech teams to solve cross-domain challenges
- Create clarity and momentum in a fast-paced, ambitious environment
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of experience leading and growing engineering teams
- Strong engineering foundation (Java, Postgresql, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Elastic, Redis, etc. )
- Able to connect business needs with technical decisions and influence stakeholders
- Comfortable with ambiguity—proactive, structured, and decisive
- Curious about financial systems; prior FX or treasury experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Thrive in fast-moving, product-oriented environments
