Boeing's Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization has a rare opportunity available for an Engineering Manager - Facilities and Infrastructure to join the Projects, Assets, Construction, and Engineering (PACE) Center of Expertise (CoE) team on-site in Hazelwood, MO.
As a key member of this dynamic Leadership team, the Engineering Manager will support the region with Engineering and technical support in Engineering fields including Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Structural and Architectural. The Midwest region includes Boeing sites in St. Louis, MO; St. Charles, MO and Oklahoma City, OK; with an expectation of travel within the Midwest region up to 25%
How you'll make an impact: You will lead a talented team of Engineers supporting the Facilities and Infrastructure that keep our Midwest manufacturing, R&D, and office operations running reliably and efficiently. This is a high impact leadership role where you will help shape technical solutions, coach and develop engineering talent, and partner with key stakeholders to impact complex opportunities across Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Capital/Project execution. Your team supports both day-to-day needs and long-term initiatives, providing critical input into the long-range capital plan that helps prioritize investments across our sites. In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence strategy, strengthen performance, and make a lasting impact on the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our Midwest Boeing Facilities and associate assets.

Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a multidisciplinary engineering team by setting goals, priorities, and expectations to deliver effective technical support for our Facilities and Infrastructures
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes and procedures that support operational and business objectives
- Secure and allocate engineering resources, manage supplier technical performance, and drive process improvements to improve execution
- Build and sustain strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners, and team members to support successful outcomes
- Review and approve technical approaches, designs, products, and engineering processes to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment with business needs
- Participate in make-or-buy evaluations and source selection activities while providing technical oversight of suppliers
- Coach, mentor, and motivate employees to strengthen technical capability, support career growth, and sustain high performance
- Support broader Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) initiatives, including reliability, asset management, capital planning and execution, and adoption of improved digital platform

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors of Science (or greater) from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or other technical degree
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership"
- Experience with Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems
- Experience with oversight of budgets and financial data
- Experience in financial acumen
- Able to travel up to 25% domestically
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 7+ years of experience in Facilities/ InfrastructureEngineering or equivalent Engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role
- Experience developing strategic long range business plans or multiyear capital planning
- Experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leaders
- Experience in administrating change management
- Strategic decision making, planning and organizational skills
