- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, managing performance, setting clear goals, and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous growth.
- Credit Strategy & Architecture: Act as a key technical peer to the Head of Credit and Product Managers to evaluate technical providers and ensure third-party integrations (such as Loan Management Systems) meet our requirements.
- System Design: Oversee the technical foundation of our credit products, ensuring the platform remains scalable, secure, and robust.
- Execution & Delivery: Facilitate daily rituals, define clear technical tasks, and ensure the team maintains high velocity and code quality.
- Technical Roadmap: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Credit, and Business Development) to define and execute the roadmap for new credit products and experimentation.
- Quality Standards: Implement best practices for software engineering, from rigorous code reviews to maintaining exemplary technical documentation.
- Engineering Foundation: At least 7 years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer, and a passion for building innovative solutions.
- Leadership Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager. You should be comfortable with performance tracking, technical grooming, and delivery oversight.
- Fintech Context: Experience in the fintech industry or with credit/lending systems is a significant advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and inspire the team to achieve their goals.
- Hands-on Mentality: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high standard of quality across the team's output.
- Language Skills: Advanced English level. You will need to communicate effectively with international stakeholders, partners, and team members.
