Role OverviewAs Engineering Manager: Chiller Product Development, you will lead mechanical and design engineering activities for industrial refrigeration and chiller products. You will own key parts of the product development lifecycle, guide technical decisions, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to bring robust, cost-effective, and compliant solutions to market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop a team of mechanical and design engineers supporting chiller product development.
- Own the end-to-end development process from concept, design, prototyping, and testing through production release.
- Prepare and review 3D models, engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and supporting technical documentation.
- Generate and review pressure vessel and heat exchanger drawings and specifications to meet order and product requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, procurement, marketing, and customer-facing teams to align engineering output with business needs.
- Drive product improvements that enhance performance, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Support validation activities, design reviews, and engineering changes for new and existing products.
- Evaluate technologies, materials, and design approaches that strengthen product competitiveness.
- Support field and service teams with technical expertise and issue resolution when needed.
- Mentor team members and build engineering capability through coaching, review, and feedback.

- Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD and Creo.
- Experience with product development processes including DFMEA, DVP&R, and stage-gate methodologies.
- Experience creating and reviewing engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, project management, and team leadership skills.
- Experience with ASHRAE, ISO, PED, ASME, or API requirements in product development or compliance work.
- Exposure to pressure vessel and heat exchanger design for industrial refrigeration applications.
