Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a high-impact SWE Manager to lead one of our core product engineering teams. This is an ideal role for a strong engineer who’s already spent a few years leading or managing teams and is now ready to take the next meaningful step in their leadership career.
In this role, you’ll have end-to-end ownership: from guiding technical direction to developing people, shaping the roadmap, and delivering meaningful customer outcomes. You’ll work in a innovative, product-led engineering culture that gives teams autonomy, trusts them to make decisions, and measures them by impact, not layers of process.
You’ll join a company where engineering isn’t a support function—it is the business.

- 8+ years total engineering experience, including designing and delivering production systems
- 3+ years of engineering leadership, actually leading a team with reports (manager, lead, tech lead, or EM)
- You’ve mentored engineers and care deeply about their growth
- You can dive into technical discussions and guide engineers toward sound decisions
- You understand how to balance technical quality with delivering customer value
- You communicate with clarity and bring calm, confidence, and structure to ambiguity
- Bonus: Experience in fintech, distributed systems, or highly available services

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
We expect new joiners in the office most days to build connections and learn from colleagues for their first six months. After that, most Wisers split their working week between the office and home, typically coming in at least 12 times a month.
