The Admin App team owns interfaces to the internal tools that partner teams rely on for understanding customer context and managing resources, enabling them to more efficiently manage customer requests and effectively troubleshoot issues. The team plays a crucial role in our customer support strategy by building intuitive experiences to orchestrate complex customer workflows and force multiply the capabilities of internal teams. By streamlining these processes, the Admin App Team directly contributes to improving both internal efficiency and the overall customer experience.

We are seeking an engineering leader for the Admin App Team. This individual will lead a skilled group of 4-6 engineers, with a greenfield opportunity to develop our next generation customer support tools and interfaces. As a leader within the Admin App Team, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Identify and minimize sources of friction that impede your team’s ability to be the best engineering team they can be.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure engineering teams, customer support and other internal stakeholder teams to coordinate dependencies and achieve project goals.
  • Partner with your technical leaders to maintain priorities, develop roadmaps, and make critical resourcing decisions.
  • Drive the culture and tone for how your team keeps score both in how they support each other and how they enable the rest of CoreWeave.
  • Support and advocate for your team, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities needed to succeed and grow within the organization.
  • Guide engineers in growing their technical skills by cultivating an environment of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.

This role provides a unique opportunity to directly impact our customers’ experience by leading a team at the intersection of technology and business strategy. Your decisions will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our admin tools and customer support systems. You will be at the forefront of creating solutions that address complex customer needs, driving innovation, and ensuring that our support operations remain agile and effective.

  • You have eight or more years of experience in a software engineering role, with a background in developing web applications.
  • You have two or more years of experience building and/or leading distributed teams of diverse individuals.
  • You believe in a bottoms-up style of leadership that focuses on enablement, communication, organization, and inspiration over task management.
  • You are comfortable planning and executing in an ambiguous startup environment, coordinating with different stakeholders, and guiding team members on the path to success.
  • You have prior experience helping teams translate and break down their use cases and requirements into actionable work.
  • You have experience with React, TypeScript, Python and/or Kubernetes.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $210,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
