Engineering Lead, Risk (Web 3)

As the technical decision-maker for the exchange's risk control system, responsible for the end-to-end risk control system architecture design and technical breakthrough for margin trading, spot leverage, margin management, and derivative trading. You must possess experience in developing financial-grade risk control systems, capabilities in high-concurrency real-time data processing, and cross-team collaborative leadership. By building a secure and efficient risk control defense system, you will ensure the security of exchange assets and business compliance, supporting risk controllability during global business expansion.

Responsibilities:

1. Build and lead the risk control R&D team, with full responsibility for team building, talent recruitment, development, motivation, and performance management. Improve technical standards and processes to ensure the efficiency and quality of technical delivery.
2. Plan and execute the technical evolution roadmap for the exchange's risk control systems. Design a risk control engine architecture that supports real-time decision-making (millisecond-level response) and high concurrency, integrating rule engines and big data stream processing, to optimize the efficiency of real-time risk indicator calculation and ensure system availability and fund security.
3. Formulate risk management solutions and build a multi-level risk control system to meet the risk control requirements of various business lines such as spot, contracts, and options.
4. Work closely with various collaborative teams to ensure the security of exchange trading and funds.
5. Keep abreast of industry trends and continuously enhance system design and risk response capabilities.

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field; 8+ years of backend development experience, including 3+ years developing financial risk control systems (securities, futures, cryptocurrency) and 2+ years of team management experience.
2. Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Go/Java/Python/C++/Scala; skilled in big data ecosystems and rule engines.
3. Hands-on experience with high-concurrency risk control systems; has led the development or optimization of millisecond-level real-time decision engines, with practical experience in resolving major risk control failures and improving system response speed and accuracy.
4. Familiar with business scenarios such as high-leverage trading and derivatives; possesses a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market; knowledgeable in risk measurement methods such as VaR, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
5. Exceptional leadership, communication, coordination, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to effectively drive cross-team collaboration and influence upstream/downstream teams and partners.
6. Possess an extreme pursuit of product quality, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to solve problems under high pressure.
7. Excellent analytical skills, capable of solving complex problems and addressing systemic risks.

Nice-To-Have:

1. Experience in building core risk control systems for top-tier exchanges or traditional financial institutions (brokerages, futures companies).
2. Familiar with DeFi protocol risk models or AI-powered risk control tools.
3. Fluent in English and Chinese, experience with supporting overseas business.
