The Role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintains approved and archived drawing folders per established procedures.
  • Compares revised drawings to previous revision and documents changes and initiates activities to assure that stock and work in process are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Reviews customer specifications and works with other members of the company to update Warsaw processes to meet customer expectations.
  • Prepares and/or reviews engineering change requests; develops and oversees preparation and implementation of engineering change notices.
  • Assists in execution of new product launches.
  • Responsible for assuring that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Warsaw Quality System procedures.
  • Assists with any open tasks in the Engineering area.

Education and Experience

  • Candidate for bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering
  • 0-5 years experience

 

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Analytical skills and the ability to express concepts effectively, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of machine shop capabilities.
  • Strong math skills.
  • Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and the internet.

  • Light to moderate physical exertion required
  • Lifting/carrying Maximum lbs.: 25
  • Frequent lbs.: 1
